What the "Title"

I thought it would be wise from the very beginning to explain and do some sort of word study on the meaning of my blog name.

If you saw the name of my blog, I would not be surprised if you had no idea as to what the title means (or for that matter be able to read it). So I thought id help you all out and explain the meaning and teach you all how to say the word.
First of all the word εὐαγγελίζω is pronounced yoo-ang-ghel-id'-zo!

Second, the meaning. The verb εὐαγγελίζω means I bring good news; preach good tidings, with or without an object, expressing either the persons who receive the good news or the good news itself (the good news being sometimes expressed as a person). This word (in different forms) occurs 54 times in the New Testament and is something that we are commanded to do in our life as a Christian. We are able to do this effectively by living out the greatest commandment “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”(Luke 10.27)

My goal for this blog is to talk about and discuss theology and to stay faithful to the Word of God. Galatians 1.8-9 warns us that “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.” The importance of the Gospel is a very high priority in Scripture and we are not to water it down or to change it in any way.

So I pray that this would be glorifying to God and that the things posted would be tested with scripture and would be good to keep. May the gospel not be compromised and may the light of God shine bright in this dark world.
